WhatsApp has launched two main functions for iPhone users. With the latest update, iOS users will be able to view larger media previews and have better control over the disappearing message functions in the group. A few days ago, these features have appeared in the beta version of the messaging app, but now WhatsApp has officially released these features for iOS users. Android users may get these features soon, but so far, the feature has not been updated.

With the 2.21.71 update, WhatsApp makes it easier for iOS users to view larger media. This means that you will no longer need to click on them to view the complete picture or video. Images or videos you receive or share on the messaging app will not appear in a small box, and you can view the media in its original size. Currently, this feature is only available for iOS users.

Another feature that has been introduced to iOS users is the ability to allow disappearing messages to be set in groups. Previously, only group administrators had the right to change the settings of disappearing messages, regardless of whether they were turned off, but now every member of the group can change the settings of disappearing messages. However, there is a catch.

The control is still up to the group administrator to decide whether he wants participants to change the settings in the group. The group administrator can change the settings to allow only the administrator to change the disappeared mail settings. The administrator can set it by changing the "Edit Group Information". Therefore, you cannot do this until the group administrator allows you to change the settings of the group. WhatsApp has provided users with two options, but the group administrator is still the decision maker.

WhatsApp had launched the disappearing messages function final year. For the unversed, the messages stay in the chatbox for a precise length of time and will disappear after seven days. However, you want to first flip the settings on to use the feature.
